We need your help raising $14,000.00 to start a K-9 Program in the Village of Mount Pleasant. These funds will pay for a certified police trained dog, officer training and required equipment. The K-9 Unit will help protect the Village of Mount Pleasant as well as Racine County.
Provide a Police Canine service to the Village of Mt. Pleasant. Mt
Pleasant's canine would train and work in conjunction with the City
and County of Racine's canines to form a county wide unit able to
provide service to the Village and County during peak hours 365 days
a year. This service would include a police patrol dog trained in
officer protection, building searches, tracking, illegal drug
detection and community awareness.
It is the goal of the Mt. Pleasant Police Dept. to maximize the use
of the donated funds to initiate and maintain this program for years
to come.
